Position: Packaging Production Artist, OXO & HF
Department: Marketing – Home & Outdoor
Work Location: New York, NY, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Production Artist to support two global consumer brands, OXO and Hydro Flask. This role is responsible for implementing compliance, regulatory, and legal updates across packaging templates and mechanicals, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and print readiness across all formats.
Implement compliance, sustainability, regulatory, and legal changes across packaging templates and mechanicals.
Intake compliance updates from Compliance and Legal teams and create accurate packaging artwork revisions.
Own compliance updates across a large ecosystem of packaging files (~5,000 SKUs).
Prepare clean, print-ready packaging files, with and without imagery.
Follow established brand-specific production guidelines and layer structures.
Troubleshoot spatial and graphic challenges to fit compliance requirements.
Collaborate with packaging production and design teams to align on brand standards and updates.
Liaise with overseas production teams to ensure accurate communication and version control.
Track changes, version updates, and approvals following established workflows.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of professional packaging production experience
Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; strong Photoshop and InDesign skills
Deep understanding of print production, including color management, dielines, and substrates for various packaging constructions
Understanding of (Pantone) color systems including, spot white ink, various varnishes, and spot UV
Demonstrated experience with large projects containing many packaging SKUs and components.
Ability to interpret compliance and legal requirements in artwork
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Pre-Press experience and understanding of printer specifications across multiple print vendors
Experience using Project Management software
In New York, the standard base pay range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
