BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position provides Technical and Quality Engineering support in NPD and Mass production, and directly interface with suppliers on routine quality operations.Implement the defined quality work processes ; Derive and implement the detailed quality work procedures, assess and monitor supplier performance and drive for continuous improvement.
What you will be doing:
• Drive and implement the detailed quality work procedures, with due alignment with BU Quality team and suppliers
• Prepare quality KPIs, monitor and review suppliers performance and drive on continuous improvement
• Quality engineering support in NPD covering PFMEA, Control Plan and Manufacturing Readiness Review
• QE support after Mass Production and Technical back up to QC team
• Lead and resolve production and field quality incidents with RCA / 8D / SCAR
• Identify supplier development needs, with plan, action and review
• Quality training to upgrade the quality competence of self, QC, QE and suppliers
• Close interaction and regular review with BU Quality teams to achieve business needs
Qualifications:
• More than 10 years relevant experience in quality or engineering
• Experience in supplier management / development
• Product experience in electrical appliances, electronics or consumer products
• Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change
• Experience on team management and people competency development
• Ability to work in highly competing industrial environment, with strong desire to WIN ; Ability to drive and lead changes
• Good personal leadership & be self-initiative ; strong analytical, problem solving, coaching, interpersonal & communication skills
• Good reporting skill
• Good English and Chinese communication
