Position: Product Development Coordinator, Hydro Flask
Department: Product Development
Work Location: Bend, OR, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: At Hydro Flask, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.
What you will be doing:
The Product Development Coordinator (Hydro Flask) will support the Product Development team contributing to the overall execution of the innovation calendar, through organization strategies, communication with cross-functional business partners (Supply Chain, Education, Sales, Marketing) and project launch timeline management.
Communicate with cross-functional team members to track and execute all key milestones to ensure timely launches
Create new product development launch timelines in shared workspace
Communicate with manufacturing partners to ensure calendar adherence
Organize product closets and display areas
Help ensure timely launches according to retailer launch dates
Catalog, organize, and track prototypes, new products, and reference products
Help create and deploy performance testing surveys
Share survey results with the Director of Product and others in the organization
Ensure timely lab submissions based on the overall launch calendar
Track overall testing timeline to follow up with periodic reporting pulls and provide synopsis to the Director of Product Development where necessary
Assist with packaging to support new product launches
Maintain clear communication and execution with packaging teams to keep launch timelines on track
Collaborate with manufacturers to obtain safety data sheets and distribute them to appropriate internal and external partners
Maintain attention to detail to ensure that reporting submissions and safety data sheets conform with all regulatory compliance needs
Support Product Development in setting up and maintaining all product information, and communication to appropriate internal partners
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Exhibit the ability and maturity to handle a multitude of projects at one time, be proactive, hands on and handle pressure in a fast-paced business
Proactive, self-starter, ability to drive and manage programs independently
Ability to handle frequent change in direction with ease
Resourcefulness in solving problems
Strong Analytical skills including ability to summarize reports
General understanding of a product launch timeline
Passionate about the consumer products industry and trend savvy
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
2+ years working in the consumer products industry (internship experience acceptable)
Strong project management skills and follow-through on details
Strong Computer Skills: Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook. Smartsheet
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
