Position: Sr. Program Manager, Beauty

Work Location: Marlborough, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. What you will be doing:
We are looking for a passionate and assertive Sr. Program Manager to help lead the end-to-end development of new beauty appliance and liquids products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, suppliers, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will supervise the development process from concept to launch and be accountable for the day-to-day new product development activities for leading beauty brands, such as Drybar, Hot Tools, Curlsmith, and Revlon.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent development projects for beauty appliances and liquids products.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
Manage project risks, issues, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
Drive decision-making processes and ensure alignment across functional teams.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering, design, manufacturing, overseas partners, and other departments involved in the product development lifecycle.
Lead project review meetings and communicate to the leadership team on key milestones and project risks.
Monitor project progress, identify dependencies, and take proactive measures to address any roadblocks.
Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Regularly report project status, milestones, and key metrics to stakeholders.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Proven experience in program or project management, preferably in the consumer electronics or beauty industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
Strong understanding of product development processes, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Ability to communicate effectively with manufacturing partners and align key project objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills with the skill for motivating teams and driving results.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, technology, or equivalent
10+ years of experience in a consumer product development or high-volume consumable manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
A passion for developing innovative and consumer-centric beauty appliances
Experience using Pro-Engineer (Creo) to design consumer appliances or other 3D CAD software
PMP certification or equivalent
Understanding of development process for hard goods or electromechanical products
In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $120,734 - $181,102.40 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
